Donna Karan, born in New York began her fashion career at Anne Klein. There, she eventually became part of the head of design before leaving to embark on her own label in 1984. The following year she launched Donna Karan, and in ’88 introduced a spin-off label called DKNY. In 1992 the first Donna Karan fragrance was launched, which now boasts a collection of around 16 different perfumes.
